Michael has been providing assistance to clients of Pinn Deavin for almost 40 years. He has extensive experience in the transport, insurance, manufacturing and building and construction industries. Particular services undertaken by him include asset management, business turnaround, corporate restructuring and business sales.
Michael also oversees day to day management advisory services for a number of long standing clients including senior executive appointments and development, new venture evaluation and start up assistance, ongoing management issues and financial evaluation.
Michael is a registered company auditor and an authorised trust account Examiner for the NSW Law Society.
In keeping with Pinn Deavin’s overall business philosophy Michael is also an honorary director of the Association of Independently Owned Financial Professionals, “AIOFP”. The AIOFP is a not for profit organisation of financial professionals who seek to promote the provision of advice to consumers on a non conflicted basis. Michael also serves as Chair of the AIOFP/NTAA SMSF Committee. That committee meets with the Australian Taxation Office to provide collaborative input into SMSF policy issues on a regular basis.
Michael is also one of the two executive members of the Pinn Deavin Securities Investment Committee where his role includes evaluation of sustainable business models and likely future investment outcomes.
